Biography :
Ms Ditte Juul-Joergensen is Head of Unit for Trade and Sustainable Development in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for External Trade. The unit is responsible for social and environmental aspects of multilateral and bilateral trade policy. Ms Juul-Joergensen has worked in trade policy for 13 years. From 1995 to 2002, she worked on WTO issues. In 2002 Ms Juul-Joergensen became head of the economic section of the EC Delegation to the United Nations in New York. Upon her return to headquarters in 2006, she worked on bilateral trade relations with countries in South Asia until taking up the post as Head of Unit for Trade and Sustainable Development in 2007.
